Alignment

Select cells B11 to C14.

To align to the left, click on "Align Text Left" :

To center, click on "Center" :

To align to the right, click on "Align Text Right" :

Now increase the height of row 5.

And edit the vertical alignment (see red area) of row 5's cells so that you get this result :

Merging Cells

Merging cells allows you to make one cell out of several.

Select cells A6 to C7 :

Click on the button shown below to merge the cells :

Warning : Only the value of the upper left hand cell will be preserved when more than one of the cells contains data !

This will be the result :

Cell Background Color

Click on a cell, then click on the "Fill Color" button and choose a color :

Font Color

Select a cell, then click on the "Font Color" button and choose a color.
